Throughout the month of November our students at DeSales have been celebrating our local law enforcement officers by taking part in various activities held at school. Some of these activities were: officers reading books to students, a drive through coffee service for police (where students made them their own coffee sleeves), and a private pizza party with officers for one lucky class! We are so grateful to the New York State Police, Niagara County Sheriffs, and Lockport City Police for participating in these events! Our last special way we would like to honor our men and women in blue will be at our Thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday, November 22nd in the Gym from 9:40am-10:40am. At this Mass, there will be a special prayer for police, a poem recited by students, and song that the whole school has been working on in music class entitled, "One Call Away." All are welcome to attend this Mass.
